The top cottage is completely separate from the main house and affords the privacy one needs on holiday! This is the view of the main house from the cottage. The unit is airconditioned adding to the overall comfort of the cottage...particularly during our Summer season!!
There is an open plan lounge/kitchen area. The kitchenette is very well equipped with a microwave, gas stove/oven, fridge/freezer; kettle and toaster. Crockery and cutlery are supplied to serve 6.
The lounge area has two comfy sofas, one of which is a sleeper couch which can be used to sleep one or two quite comfortably. There is a flat screen TV with DSTV - hotel boutique. The French doors leading off the lounge are able to be fully opened and so extend the flow of the living area onto the verandah which has a 6 seater table and chair suite as well as two outdoor chairs and a braai facility.
The cottage is serviced on a daily basis during the week but no service is provided on the weekend nor on Public Holidays.
Secure off street parking is provided.
It is a 5-7 sleeper unit with 2 large airy bedrooms which are well equipped with fabulous built in wardrobes - which have sufficient space to store those suitcases that always get in the way!!
The back bedroom has a queen size bed and the front bedroom has 3 single beds - All bed linen and towels are supplied - however, you need to bring your own swimming towels.
Guests are allowed access to the swimming pool which is next to, adjacent to the main house
JOSCO SMITH STUDIO
Our self catering open plan Studio is also a stand alone unit which is fitted for the self catering option. It's a lovely, private, garden unit with features that encompass exactly that and more!
Airconditioned for those balmy Durban days and has a fabulous undercover verandah with a 4 seater table and chairs suite for shady outdoor meals, as well as a braai facility.
There are two three quarter beds which are super comfy as well as a two seater sofa and a fully fitted kitchenette
The bathroom facility consists of a shower, hand basin and toilet.
Bath towels are provided and changed daily, however, guests must bring their own swimming towels.
The unit is serviced daily during the week - no service on weekends nor public holidays.
